Research Centre

A research centre dedicated to the study of Surrealism, a cultural and artistic movement that left an imprint in Mexico. Its activities include a yearly symposium, talks and publications.

The museum houses a library and an archive specialised in surrealism and Leonora Carrington. Items are only available in the reading room. Registration to use the library is free.

The museum hosts a yearly symposium on surrealism, entitled Encuentro Internacional de Estudios Surrealistas (EIES 2020). The symposium features talks by researches and artists interested in surrealism.
